I’ve always believed that good care begins with understanding. That belief has guided my work as a pharmacist for the past 16 years. I was trained to notice changes, recognize patterns, and ask the right questions. When my own body began to change, I struggled to name what was happening.
Perimenopause had entered my life.
What stayed with me was how difficult it was to find a clear path through it. The information came in pieces, and a doctor’s appointment ended with questions still unanswered. Women were being asked to make sense of one of the most significant transitions of their lives on their own. I kept thinking: there has to be a better way.
I began building Bloom28 around the care I had wanted for myself. I was meticulous about every part of it: sourcing only clinically studied ingredients, developing a phased dosing plan, and creating tools that support daily consistency and symptom tracking. And I paired these tools with education to help women understand their changing bodies and bring their observations and questions to their healthcare providers.
I wanted Bloom28 to help us build habits we could carry with us for the rest of our lives. The care we give ourselves today matters greatly to the women we are becoming. As I built Bloom28, I also kept thinking about my daughter because one day, her body will change too. I want her to grow up knowing what perimenopause is long before she has to wonder what is happening to her. I want her to hear women speak about it freely and without judgment. And most importantly, I want her to know she can bloom at every stage of her life.
In many ways, Bloom28 is a gift to my daughter and every woman who deserves to be met with care and understanding.
